Please wait...The standard resin for in stock fiberglass grating at National Grating is Vinyl Ester, and for structural pultruded FRP products, it is a fire retardant isophthalic polyester. Other types of resin are available upon request, with much longer ship times. The type of resin selected may be important for some applications like the need for food grade corrosion or superior fire resistance and low smoke.
Most companies stock standard polyester resins, which are more typically used for basic industrial and water/waste water use. Both of the resins we stock are superior grade resins for corrosion resistance, strength, and fire retardant characteristics.
